What is StoryMixer?
StoryMixer is a free browser-based party game inspired by the classic “Who? When? Where? With whom? What are they doing?” group storytelling game. Players take turns answering one prompt; the game then combines every answer into an unpredictable sentence.
Why play together?
Because the story belongs to everyone. One player invents a character, another chooses a location, and someone else adds a surprising action. The combination can be odd, unexpected or simply funny.
Two modes, two languages
Choose a fast five-question round or a longer seven-question round. StoryMixer is available in Hungarian and English, with no account or download required.
Who is it for?
Friends, families, small groups and anyone looking for an easy creative activity. A browser and a few ideas are all you need.
How does it work?
StoryMixer is a HTML/JavaScript web app. Answers are kept in memory during a game and assembled into a sentence when the round is complete. Sharing and opening external websites are optional actions controlled by the player.
